Florida man, Chris Gursky, recently traveled to Switzerland with his wife, but his first day of vacation was almost his last! Chris had decided to go hang gliding, but before hang gliding the pilot forgot to attach Chris to the glider causing him to have to hold on for dear life! Chris was stuck hanging on the bar of the glider and the pilot’s leg for 2 minutes and 14 seconds at heights up to 4,000 feet in the air. Luckily, the pilot was able to safely land both Chris and himself in a grass field after the adrenaline rushing journey. Christ ended up having to receive surgery on his right wrist, because he received a fragmented distal radius fracture, and tore his left bicep tendon. Thankfully, these injuries are better than what would’ve happened if Chris would not have been able to hold on for so long.
