What’s Coming Up this Month? – April
April 4th-7th
- Star Wars Half Marathon-The Dark Side
Star Wars themed races that are fun for everyone in the family are being hosted at Epcot. First, on April 5th, there is the Star Wars Dark Side 5k. On April 6th kids can enjoy shorter races, and the Star Wars Dark side 10k for the adults. Finally, on April 7th is the Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon.

April 5th
- Nightbird Dance: Superheros
Eastmonte Park, in Altamonte, is holding a dance and costume contest from 7 to 9 p.m. This year the theme is superheroes! Winners of these contests will receive awards. At the event guests are also treated to free snacks and drinks.

April 11th
- Downtown Longwood Food Trucks
Come down to Downtown Longwood from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Anyone can come and bring their families for live music and food trucks.

April 13th
- Southeastern Guide Dogs Orlando Walkathon
This year a huge fundraiser will take place at Cranes Roost to help raise money to train and match guide guide dogs for those in need. This event includes a 3k walk, food trucks, live music, raffle drawings, a doggie zone, and a kids area.

April 20th
- Earth Day Celebration
Lake Lotus Park will be hosting a celebration for Earth Day! The event will last from 10 a.m to 2 p.m, and admission is free. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of activities including live music, nature exhibits, crafts, butterfly gardening, live bat exhibition, plant and tree giveaways, and food vendors.

- Magic 107.7 Easter Egg Hunt
At 9:30 a.m at Reiter Park, kids of all ages can enjoy Easter egg hunt. Kids will be split into different ages groups and then the hunt will be on! There will also be 20 booths with games and activities as well as an Easter basket competition.
April 21st
- Easter Community Sunrise Service
In the Eddie Rose Amphitheater, from 6:30-8:30 a.m, anyone is invited to come watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast and music.

April 24th
- Art Workshop: Gallery Show
Families and friends will be able to view amazing art created by artists who worked hard in this 8 week art workshop from 6 to 8 p.m in Eastmonte Park. While viewing the masterpieces, guests will be provided snacks and soft drinks at the event.

- Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
During the whole month of April guests can go see a beautiful assortment of 30 million flowers on display at Disney’s Epcot. During the event there will be samples of food, unique drinks to buy, and music to listen to.
