Drake: Certified Lover Boy


Canadian rapper Drake is planning to release his sixth album in January. The album is titled “Certified Lover Boy.” The God’s Plan singer has released a teaser video for his upcoming album which has fans excited for the next chapter of his career. However, rumors of the album being postponed are floating around.



Known for her song “Love On The Brain,” Rihanna has not released an album since 2016. Though, fans believe she may break the streak this year. Rihanna has been teasing her devoted fans with “R9” for quite some time. The pop/R&B singer hinted, “Update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it,” back in December of 2019. 

Foo Fighters: Medicine at Midnight

This upcoming album will be the Foo Fighters’ tenth studio record. Though the album was originally set to be released last year, it was delayed due to the pandemic. Member Dave Grohl says the album is “our Saturday night party album.”

Billie Eilish


Billie Eilish’s brother and producer Finneas revealed an upcoming album is in the works. This will be her second full-length studio album following her 2019 release, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Though there is no set release date as of now, it’s assumed that the album will be coming out during the second half of the year since Finneas has spoken on the importance of the album coming out after COVID. 

Billie’s album, and my album, they won’t be a bummer COVID record,” Finneas said. “I have a desperate desire not to release them during COVID-19. It’s the vaccine record! I want it to be the album everyone’s out dancing in the streets to.” 

Lana Del Rey: Chemtrails Over the Country Club


Indie rock singer Lana Del Rey is set to release her seventh studio album sometime in March later this year. The record will be released by Interscope Records and Polydor Records, and is following her 2019 Grammy-nominated album, Norman F***ing Rockwell! Lana announced the album via Instagram on January 10th, 2021, with the caption “there’s always turmoil and upheaval and in the midst of it there’s always beautiful music too.”

Ed Sheeran: Minus


Following his 18 month hiatus, Ed Sheeran made a comeback to music after releasing his new single, “Afterglow” on December 21st, 2020. The single is expected to have come off of Sheeran’s unreleased 2021 album. He stated “Afterglow” is not the lead single, but “just a song I love,” hinting that even more music is to come.

Travis Scott: Utopia


Travis Scott is a widely known hip-hop artist, most well known for his song“SICKO MODE” released back in 2018. Scott planned the release of his fourth album “Utopia” this year but has yet to say exactly when in 2021 this album will be dropping.
