Due to the pandemic, the 2021 Met Gala was set as a slightly more intimate event than past years, as well as being split up into two parts. This year’s event, taking place September 13th, had the theme of In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, while the second part, taking place May 2nd 2022, will be In America: An Anthology of Fashion themed.

This year’s co-chairs were Timothée Chalamet, Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka, and Billie Eilish, with honorary chairs Anna Wintour, Adam Mosseri, and Tom Ford. Keke Palmer and Ilana Glazer were the hosts, walking everyone through their red carpet moments.

With all of the new regulations and changes made to the Met comes new faces; 27, to be exact. Here are the newest names to pose on the carpet.
