Merry Christmas – Ed Sheeran & Elton John

Release date: December 3rd

Sheeran and John decided to kick off the holiday season on the right foot, as this single Merry Christmas was made for charity. The two announced all proceeds made off of the track would be donated to the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation, as well as the Elton John Aids Foundation. Additionally, Sheeran revealed the chorus for the song was written about a year ago, but will finally be making its debut this year. 

A Very Darren Crissmas  – Darren Criss

Release date: October 8th

As his first full-length studio album, Emmy-winner Darren Criss has released A Very Darren Crissmas early this holiday season. The album features other artists such as Adam Lambert, Evan Rachel Wood, and Lainey Wilson. The 12 track album can be heard live on December 20th at the Beacon Theatre in New York. 

A Different Christmas – Bryson Tiller

Release date: November 19th

Seven tracks long, this holiday ep is filled with collaborations. Artists like Justin Bieber, Tayla Parx, Kiana Ledé and more can be heard singing over songs inspired by Tiller’s “loneliest” Christmas season. As an added bonus, Tiller’s daughter Harley, going by “Halo,” is featured on the closing track “winter wonderland.” 

 

I Dream of Christmas – Norah Jones

Release date: October 15th

This Christmas season nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones has released her first holiday album. This album features a mix of holiday favorites, as well as originals. The 13 song tracklist covers an array of sounds and instruments, such as bolder tones like trumpets, and a softer feel from the flute. There ought to be something for everyone!

Fall in Love at Christmas – Mariah Carey (Ft.  Khalid & Kirk Franklin)

Release date: November 5th

Though a seemingly unlikely trio, Carey, Khlaid, and Franklin have united to create five minutes and eight seconds of holiday cheer. 

Christmas Tree Farm (Old Timey Version) – Taylor Swift

Release date: November 22nd

Following her 2019 release of Christmas Tree Farm, Swift has decided to follow the success of Red (Taylor’s Version)’s release with an old timey version of the single. The song and behind-the-scenes video are available to be streamed on Amazon Music now!

Christmas With Love, Always – Leona Lewis

Release date: November 19th

Lewis had planned a rerelease to her 2013 album Christmas With Love, consisting of the original 10 tracks and two new ones. The new additions include a cover of “If I Can’t Have You” by the Bee Gees, as well as an original pop duet, titled “Kiss Me It’s Christmas,” featuring Ne-Yo, which also has a music video available to be watched on YouTube. 

When Christmas Comes Around – Kelly Clarkson

Release date: October 15th

When Christmas Comes Around offers almost 40 minutes of reimagined Christmas classics, as well as original songs. Clarkson wanted to release an album that acknowledged the various emotions people may feel as the holiday season approaches. For some, Christmas can be full of big smiles and jolly spirits, while others could be barely getting by in the cold month of December. Clarkson’s album was made to cover it all.
