Halloween is just around the corner! Here are some popular spooky events here in Central Florida you can go to with friends and family.

Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights
Halloween Horror Nights takes place at Universal Studios here in Orlando, Florida. The event runs from September 3rd until October 31st. There’s food, haunted houses, scare zones, rides and attractions.

Disney After Hours Boo Bash
At Magic Kingdom Park, after the usual hours at the Park, Magic Kingdom is hosting the Boo Bash on select nights from August 10th to October 31st. Full of trick or treating, Halloween cavalcades, special performances, themed foods and beverages, and lots of Halloween decorations.

Howl-O-Scream Busch Gardens
At Busch Gardens from Sep. 10th to Oct. 31st. Including 8 scare zones, haunted houses, including three never seen before haunted house experiences. There are also two shows, fiends and the rolling bones. Along with all of this there are still all of the roller coaster attractions.

Petrified Forest
Select dates throughout the month of October, Petrified Forest is a haunted attraction with a haunted house and scare trail. In Altamonte Springs, opening on October 1st filled with all new trails and laser tag!

Scream-A-Geddon
An amusement and theme park filled with foods, drinks, monsters, and scares. Featuring six haunted attractions starting at $24.95 to $47.95 and all tickets cost $5 dollars more at the box office.

Haunt Nights at Adventure Landing
In Jacksonville Beach, Haunt Nights lasts from October 4th to October 31st and has four main attractions: The Payn Manor, Pinehurst Asylum, Dark Fables, and Descent. Tickets are $25 dollars per person for both haunted attractions.

Spooktacular
From September 18 through October 31, SeaWorld is hosting the event filled with Trick or Treat Stations, a pumpkin garden, the meet a mermaid, and the DJ Dance Party. The average age group is ten and lower.

Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld
In Orlando, a marine zoological park and theme park has opened Orlando’s newest Halloween event. Dates are from September 10th to October 31st. This includes four haunted houses, four scare zones, and two shows.

Brick or Treat
Full of things to be entertained by from the trick or treating trails, shows, all of the other activities available. There is the four hour night party ticket for $64 or the full day ticket for $79.

Halloween Scare Run 5k
At Bill Frederick Park At Turkey Lake in Orlando on Sunday, October 31st from ten a.m. to six p.m. and the tickets vary from $0 to $39. There is also an after party once the run has been accomplished.

Scream ‘n Stream
For a new haunting experience, an interactive drive-thru haunted house that can be experienced in the car. The theme for this year is Clowns vs Zombies, driving your car inside a top secret facility and being given laser guns to shoot the zombies and clowns. It is highly recommended to buy tickets in advance, saving up to $20 dollars or more.

Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins
On weekends from Saturday, October 9th to Sunday October 31st in Gatorland featuring a number of activities including themed haunt zones, live music, interactive characters, animal encounters, and a costume parade.

Fathom Events FrightFest
At the Fathom Events FrightFest it is a perfect opportunity to watch the classic Halloween films like Carrie, Dracula, Frankenstein, and more. The movie ticket prices may vary depending on theatre, but come out to support theatres and eat some popcorn!
The Haunted Road
Haunted roads in Central Florida is a themed trail full of ghosts and tortured souls. Starting from September 30th to November 7th and goes along the Lake Pickett Road.

This is so informative, really one of the best stories I’ve found when trying to decide on what to do for Halloween. All of these sound like fun things to do, and it helps that the author gave a small explanation of each event, in case you really didn’t know what it was. I will definitely be using one of these ideas for Halloween next year.
